Excellent photo of this Masked Flowerpiercer. Maybe the colours are a bit dark; the pose, the sharp details and the composition are fantastic. Good focus on the head.

What a delightful image of this Masked Flowerpiercer. This is a beautiful bird and you have captured it in a perfect close-up pose. The dark and vividly coloured plumage is beautiful very bright and the details of the beak and red eye are displayed well. The framing and composition is great. A pleasant image with great natural colours and light. Just a pity that the tailpiece is not as much in focus as the rest of the bird. Thanks for sharing. Kind regards

Very nice picture of a "first-time see" bird for me.

Excellent exposition and POV. You choose a big aperture in order to get the focus on the head (which aperture have you used?). Usually I prefer to have legs in focus too but here, it works well for me. Nice details on the feathers.

Que decir de esta captura, lo más sorprendente son las condiciones en que la tomaste, el link que te nuestra Selene dispara a iso 400 y se ve que hace un solajero de espanto, me imagino tu con esos valores,lo que habrias hecho... Espero que tú y Cristina lo hayan pasado bien.
