I have seen some mind blowing landscapes of Tuscany here and there, Anne. Good to know you are/were there and took this shot of co-habitation of life forms along the Arno.
It is a beautiful capture of these creatures busy with their own lives. The image shows it is a bright, sunny and cheerful day. I hope you have enjoyed your trip.

quel superbe timing pour avoir en photo ce ragondin avec ces oiseaux,
on peut distinguer sa taille avec celles des canards et de l'aigrette ,
tu as su obtenir des détails et dans les ombres (ragondin, canards)
et dans les hautes lumières (aigrette), avec un excellent POV
et de la façon dont le tout est cadré dans l'image, TFS

Interesting photo of these animals together, specially the Coypu. Never seen in the wild. A pity is the plastic in the water. Very nice natural colours and a pleasing composition.

tre diverse specie in pochi metri, in un certo senso un "allarmante" indicatore del degrado ambientale prodotto dall'uomo, lo stesso Uomo che a Firenze ci ha lasciato quelle meravigliose bellezze che hai potuto vedere ....., bellissima luce invernale in una piacevole immagine che ci racconta molte cose

¿"Nutria" in Italy ??? It is very interesting because it is a typical animal in South America, particularly in my area, island area and large rivers of the coast of Argentina. The Spanish Conquistadors called "nutria" (otter) for a very general appearance and aquatic life (although the "nutria" is a rodent, like the beaver, otter and true is a mustelid).

I guess it was introduced in Europe at some point. Now I will investigate the matter ...
