Hope all went well for you in Iceland. Maybe someday I will find out for myself what this cold Nordic island country is like.
Your photo is simple stunning to view. The detail is exceptional and the colors are awesome. It has such sad looking eyes, but I am sure it is just part of it's unique features that give it that appearance.

It surely is great to see a posting from you again and such a colourful one too adds to my delight.

I remember when I started as member of Trek Nature how fascinated I was when I saw these birds for the 1st time. I was amazed by all the prominent and vibrant coloured features and here you share a stunning portrait of an Atlantic Puffin which seemed to have dissapeared of the gallery for such a long time.

This is a brilliant close-up with fantastic detail showing up in the perfect lighting. And the look in the eye, is just so beautiful. I think they are very photogenic and your image proofs just that.

Nice to see a picture from you again..a very nice one, indeed. Lovely bird shown in a wonderful light and with perfect sharpness. The atlantic Puffins have often some kind of melancholic look, like this one. Lovely grey background as contrast.

Dear Ahmet,

I am absolutely delighted to find your PUFFIN in the gallery. With a little twinge of envy though, because I have never seen a live one! Not even in a Zoo.

I can't hep but think of the Venice carnival. The puffin's little face just like the painted porcelain masks... And I add your work to my theme "nature' oddities".
