some great egret (Ardea alba) on the lake of Neuchâtel.
The last days have been really warm and beautiful here in Switzerland.

The great egret (Ardea alba) also known as common egret, large egret or (in the Old World) great white heron,[2][3][4] is a large, widely distributed egret. The great egret is partially migratory, with northern hemisphere birds moving south from areas with colder winters. It breeds in colonies in trees close to large lakes with reed beds or other extensive wetlands. It builds a bulky stick nest.

Hello Pierre - Well captured this Egret in its flying mode. Well managed light on its white plumage. Good sharpness. Thanks for sharing. Regards - Srikumar
