Peaceful Koala
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Shot of a wild male koala sitting peacefully in a tree, shot taken in a nature corridor/reserve...
Please note the white markings (ie. the smile face or paw indent marks?) on the bottom of the photo, each koala has different markings & can be used to identify individual koalas.
The small orange patch (ie. being scratched by the koalas left paw) on the chest of the koala is it's scent gland, which it uses to mark the trees it lives in and to let other koalas know whose territory it is...

Hi Joffre!
This picture has a lot of potential. This is a very nice subject in its natural habitat. However colors seems washed out by some overexposure and some low contrast. I am kind of suprise since the G5 is a very good camera. I did a workshop to improve contrast, I hope you will like it.
Thanks for sharing (TFS) and wellcome on TN.
