Well they look like cormorants, and if they are, the species that I listed below are native to Iraq.
PELECANIFORMES: Phalacrocoracidae
Great Cormorant Phalacrocorax carbo
Socotra Cormorant Phalacrocorax nigrogularis - Vulnerable
European Shag Phalacrocorax aristotelis
Here is another cormorant species but the coloration of the plumage does not match the birds on the left:
Pygmy Cormorant Phalacrocorax pygmaeus - near threatened
Cool shot but kinda small to figure out what species this is. They appear so small in your picture you can call them CormorAnts :)
