Hi Williw
Every time I see what you can pull out of that camera of yours, I am amazed. This is not an easy bird to nail properly, I have tried shooting them, even got very good results, but they are still tricky to expose correctly, Well done here, POV is good too.

With you limitation of equipment this is a Great image.
Most people should be very happy to get this quality with a real camera. Very good details. composition and colours.

Hi Willie. I love your sparrow. Original POV, not usual to capture a bird. I imagine that's what a worm would see, just popping out! It's therefore a very lively photo. Great quality despite your equipment is more adapted to video. Very well done.

Though the focus is softer side,love the compostion and contrast colours.Not easy to get them,they seems tiny and very quick for any pose.Well done.

What I like on your picture Willie is perfect DOF. Great bird with detailed BG with fresh green grass make the picture. Very good.

Excellent to ID this bird. I find these brown ones hard to ID. When I look at the shot it seems from the grass that the focal point is just behind the subject. F1.6 leaves you with a very narrow DOF. If you steooed down on the f-stop to F5 or F8 you could have had this sharper. Still you did a great job. Nice shot.
