Good Morning Jay,
This closeup of the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep shows good detail, has good depth of field and great color. I like the mountainous back drop alot, this guy looks like me though a little sleepy. Thanks for sharing, and have a great 2007.

I think this latest post of the "ovis canadensis" is sharper than the original you posted......fur is more "realistic" and the ram seems to predominate the photo, with the BG fading nicely back where it belongs!! I also noticed the scars on the fore-face of the ram, and looks like he has had a few "encounters".......this makes the photo a wee more interesting to me!!

I'm not familiar with your camera. About what lens length did you use and how far were you actually from this beautiful creature? I trust that you weren't actually toe to toe! It is a really great shot. I have a goal to one day get a good shot of one of these guys. Nice work!

Very good details, a good POV and I like the eyecontact very much. Very nice BG, those are mountains if I'm not mistaken?

Hi Jay.
Great portrait at natural environment. I like the POV and close distance very much. Perfect detailed and sharpened image of the animal. Very nice BG. Blue tones are combine with colour palette of the head nicely. Superb done and my best wishes.

Nice of you to direct me to this beautiful post of yours.
This was uploaded while i was away and apparently i didn't see it when i came back.
It's really wonderful!
The frontal POV works amazing and the sharpness of the details is impeccable.
Even the BG behind him is really amazing!
I personally think that hte PP version looks a bit better - has a wee more contrast, the details are a bit sharpe and the Neatimage did ok to remove the slight grain from the BG.
Very nice work!
