[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the least known irises. It belong to the juno irises which are sometimes seperated from the real irises as a distinct genus - Juno. Iris edomensis is endemic to the Edom Mts in South Jordan, it is locally common under and south of Petra.
