Lesser Glory (Ipomoea obscura)

Flower: 2.5mm across; Distribution: India, Sri Lanka;
Habit: Slender, tinining anuual, commong along the roads. On the hills up to 1400m. Flowers are pale yellow to yellowish with pink tinge; Flowering: August to April.

Today I had a bad outing to lalbagh. It was very cloudy in the morning and drizzle started which lasted for more than a hour followed by some sunlight and again the clouds taken over the sky. After the rain stopped I found this flower covered with rain drops. I tried to capture the the delicate structure and colors.

Normally I don't go for this kind of cropping but here the shape of the flower demanded square format and I had to use the frame to go well with it, also to include my signature. Hope you like this image in this format.
