Learning to do macros with a compact camera (bicycling oblige):

The automatic focus (there is no manual way with compact cameras) was correct on the Marbled fritillary (Lepidoptera; Nymphalidae; Brenthis daphne; Brombeer- Perlmuttfalter) despite its movements.

The picture was taken at the Cousimbert mountain, at 1'000 m a.s.l.

Did a little noise reductin with Neat Image and then increased the brightness a bit, with slightly reduced contrast. Lastly desaturated the yellow channel a tad to reduce the impact of the green background.
