Muscari neglectum - Salkımlı Sümbül, Dağ Sümbülü [TR] is a beautiful flowery geophyte (ASPARAGALES: HYACINTHACEAE). It is called as "Gavurbaşı" in Kemah (Erzincan). It is a perennial herb, inhabits in 0-2300m a.s.l. and flowers in March to May. It is edible and has medical properties like other Muscari species as M. comosum and M. romanus.
It ranges in North Africa, Turkiye, Cyprus, Syria, the Caucasus, Iran, Central Russia, and England. In Turkiye, it is found in Anatolia, except for eastern areas (summarized from TUBIVES and Wikipedia.
