Dear Trekkers,

I dedicate this photo of mute swan (Cygnus olor) to our fellow member mate Asbed (CeltickRanger), a master of unusual kind of bird photography. Compared to his images, this one's much more simple - I just experimented with the "model" looking out of the frame than into it. This is also the 1st photo on TrekNature ever done in Westmeath county of Ireland.

Photo: taken in shutter priority mode, in Athlone city, on the side of River Shannon. A scene like this should be photographed almost anywhere, so I upload a workshop with the same stone and the same swan, but with characteristic buildings of the city in the background.

Asbed, and everyone else, I hope you'll like this swan photo, even if the species itself is very much known by everyone.

Taken some seconds before, with the city in the background.
