This is Evolution Basin along the John Muir Trail. This shot was taken in the morning light with the still air allowing for a reflection in the lake. Most interesting to me is the contrast between the light in this shot, and the light in the one taken the day before. I especially love to flip between the two. It makes for a nice story about the impact of different lighting, probably better than the things I've done in the studio.

Cloned out some fluff from the scanning, and ran selective noise reductions on the sky and the water, removing various specks of dirt and fluff... Increased stauration a touch more.
