Guided Missle (14)
Finally got a macro lens - and this is the first image from it - of a bird...!
The Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo) is a widespread member of the cormorant family of seabirds. It breeds in much of the Old World and the Atlantic coast of North America.
It is a large black bird, 77-94 cm in length with a 121-149 cm wingspan. It has a longish tail and yellow throat-patch. Adults have white thigh patches in the breeding season.

The almost black and white silhouette looks very graphical and artistic. But it might be worth trying to find out about the details well hidden in the dark parts of the image.
1) Magic wand tool selection (90% tolerance) of bird.
2) Fill flash tool + 76
3) Magic wand tool selection (5% tolerance) of sky.
4) Noise removal on sky.
5) Complete image: Brightness + 6, Contrast +3
6) Saturation: + 12.
Hope you enjoy.
